Over 300 Golfers
and additional guests enjoyed the days festivities which raised money for the
Jack Kidwell Scholarship Fund to assist students majoring in turf grass
management in an Ohio College or University.

Twelve free rounds of golf were given away as a
result of the balloon launch.

All green fees were only 50
cents!

Four groups played in the Hickory Hackers
Tournament which was a challenge as players used hickory-shafted clubs, similar
to those used in 1931. Low gross score was won by Jeff Groezinger who is also
the course record holder. Longest drive went to Ralph Santilli and closest to
the pin to Bob Jones.

Ten door prizes of free golf balls and green
fees were awarded.

The entire staff wore knickers and
argyle!
